Abstract

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is transforming enterprise information systems by enabling organizations to automate
knowledge-intensive activities, enhance decision-making, and interact with complex digital environments through natural
language. At the same time, cloud transformation has become a strategic requirement for enterprises seeking scalability, flexibility,
operational resilience, and cost optimization. However, integrating GenAI into cloud-based enterprise environments introduces
significant challenges related to cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, interoperability, model reliability, and regulatory
compliance. This study proposes a Generative AI-enabled enterprise architecture that integrates cloud infrastructure, enterprise
data, business applications, cybersecurity mechanisms, intelligent automation, and human oversight into a unified framework. The
architecture is designed to support secure cloud migration while embedding intelligent capabilities into business operations. The
study examines how GenAI can improve operational monitoring, knowledge management, workflow automation, decision support,
and enterprise service management while maintaining security and governance requirements. A structured research methodology
combining architectural design, literature-based analysis, scenario evaluation, and qualitative assessment is adopted to examine
the proposed framework. The findings indicate that GenAI can strengthen enterprise agility and operational intelligence when
supported by secure data pipelines, identity-based access control, continuous monitoring, retrieval-augmented generation, and
human-in-the-loop governance. The proposed approach provides a foundation for organizations seeking responsible, scalable,
and secure adoption of GenAI during enterprise cloud transformation.
