Abstract

The rapid adoption of multi-cloud environments has created increasingly complex enterprise infrastructure in which workloads,
data, applications, and security controls are distributed across heterogeneous cloud platforms. Conventional infrastructure
management approaches often depend on static policies, manual intervention, and platform-specific monitoring, limiting their
ability to respond efficiently to dynamic workload demands and emerging security threats. This paper proposes an autonomous
artificial intelligence (AI) framework for secure multi-cloud enterprise infrastructure and intelligent workload optimization. The
proposed framework integrates AI-driven observability, predictive analytics, autonomous decision-making, workload orchestration,
security intelligence, and continuous policy enforcement across multiple cloud environments. Machine learning models analyze
infrastructure telemetry, workload characteristics, resource utilization, performance indicators, and security events to predict
demand and identify anomalous behavior. An intelligent orchestration layer subsequently determines workload placement,
scaling, migration, and resource allocation according to performance, cost, security, compliance, and availability requirements.
The framework further incorporates zero-trust principles, continuous risk assessment, explainable decision mechanisms, and
human oversight for high-impact operations. The proposed approach aims to improve resource utilization, resilience, security
responsiveness, and operational efficiency while reducing dependence on manual cloud administration. The study establishes
a conceptual foundation for developing adaptive and trustworthy autonomous infrastructure capable of optimizing enterprise
Infrastructure, Intelligent Workload Optimization, Cloud Security, Machine Learning, Workload Orchestration, Zero Trust,
Resource workloads across heterogeneous multi-cloud ecosystems.
